A Little Bit Of Heaven ~ The Movie ~ My Reviews On This Romantic Comedy

September 08, 2011 By: Lynn Category: Feelings, Love, Movie Reviews, My Views

I just watched the movie A Little Bit Of Heaven.

It was a romantic comedy and  let me tell you, did I ever find a tear jerker!  It has humour, romance, sex appeal and is a great movie for all you ladies or first dates out there.

This movie starred:

  • Kate Hudson as Marley Corbett
  • Gael Garcia Bernal as Julian Goldstein
  • Kathy Bates as Beverly Corbett
  • Whoopi GoldBerg as god
  • Peter Dinklage as Vinnie
  • Romany Malco as Peter Cooper

The movie A Little Bit Of Heaven,  is based on a very career oriented woman that learns that she has cancer.

She has a guardian Angel (Whoopi Goldberg) that allows her three wishes, to enhance her life with what time she has left.

You will see how she deals with finding out she has colon cancer, how her friends and family deal with it…….

and how she finds love too.

You can’t beat this movie.  (Make sure you have Kleenex).

I hope that you enjoy the movie as much as I did.  And please come back and let me know what you thought of it!  Enjoy!

So What Did You Think Of Jason From Last Season’s Bachelor & Molly Mesnick’s Wedding? Who Was On The Guest List? Do You Wonder If Melissa Rycroft Watched As The Events Unfolded? Watch The Full Wedding Video Here.

So what did you think of Jason from last season’s bachelor and Molly Mesnick’s wedding?  Who was on the guest list?  Do you wonder if Melissa Rycroft watched as the events unfolded? Watch Jason And Molly’s Wedding Video Here.

Well, tonight was Jason & Molly Mesnick’s Wedding aired tonight on ABC.  In a strange weather event the two tied the knot tonight.  The original date that they married was February 27, 2010 and was aired tonight to let the world know that they were indeed ready to be one.

Jason was the Bachelor last season and in a crazy change of events he originally picked Melissa Rycroft, who he proposed to and then not to long later retracted his feelings on national television.  He then asked Molly Malany to take him back after dumping her and choosing Melissa.

Now let’s get to the nitty gritty……..who made the guest list?  There were ex’s of ex’s and the strangest couples.  Did you know that Deanna Pappas who picked Jesse Csincsak in her season of the bachelorette, after breaking up with him, then went back and asked Jason Mesnick to take her back?  She was at the wedding with Stephan Stagliano the twin brother of Micheal,  who was a contestant cast off by Jillian Harris last season.  Woo, she gets around.

The reason Jake and Vienna couldn’t go was because they were secluded at this point, because the Bachelor On The Wings Of Love was still airing.

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski were in attendance and discussed there exciting plans to tie the knot next year perhaps.

Charlie O’Connell and Sarah Brice were there and they are talking about a house in the future.  They are not engaged, just happily living life after a year breakup.

Ryan and Trista Sutter, a very happy couple, with two children Max 2, and Lacey 1, make them complete.

Others in Attendance were  Kiptyn Locke, Jesse Csincsak and Natalie Getz, Stephanie Hogan and Nikki Kaapke.

They had their rings custom made by Niel Wayne, wedding planner was Jo Cartin, Invitations were made by Jennifer from Tiny Pine Press, Event designer was Eden Rodriguez, gift registry was done at Macy’s.  Molly’s gown was purchased at Monique Lhuillier, fashion designer, Jason’s Suit was purchased by Kenneth Cole.  Hair and Makeup were done by Ken Pavis and Mally Roncal.  Jason Castro from American Idol was there to provide music for Molly to walk down the isle singing, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,”and as the percession descended from the crowd he sang, “That’s What I Am Here For.”  There first dance was a gift from the Bachelor Show, by Molly’s favorite artist,Gavin Degraw singing, “Follow Through.”

If you were wondering where Ty was, Jason and Ty’s mother discussed not putting him on National Television anymore, so that he could grow up as a normal child.  So there was no footage of Ty during this memorable time.  But he was there and I’m sure happy to have a new step mom.

So in a beautifully constructed wedding the rain held off for a short time only to pour once Jason and Molly were saying there personal wedding vows.  Where was the wedding planner with umbrella’s at this moment?  They had umbrella’s for all the guest and not the bridal party themselves.

Needless to say this was a beautiful television event.  And though I did not like the situation between the split of Jason and Melissa, you can tell that all parties involved are very happy.

What did you think of the wedding?  Were you happy with the outcome?  Is there anything you would have changed?

What Do You Think Of Jake Pavelka Picking Vienna? And Rejecting Tenley? The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love

March 01, 2010 By: Lynn Category: Feelings, Frustrated, Love, My Views, Relationships

Well as you all might know, the Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love, has come to a close and I am so sad to see this reality show  go off the air.

I can honestly say that I am in love with Jake and Tenley!  I could watch their life from a distance forever!  Tenley seems to be the perfect woman.  It actually makes me teary eyed to watch such a display of affection and love put out there and in the end be broken hearted.  She has so many fine qualities, she is passionate and without a shadow of a doubt in love with Jake.

I am sad and equally hurt that I have invested so much of my heart into this show, for Tenley to be rejected at the end!  She has so much poise and honour.  What a wonderful woman, I thoroughly hope that she will be the next bachelorette.  I feel like I’ve just been dumped.

Vienna has been controversial, and in most cases I would rally to support her because she appears to be the underdog.  But in this case, I think that he needs to use ration and not only the physical attraction.  And in the end he chose her.  Do you believe that it was lust over love, or do you think that he gave her the appropriate benefit of doubt?  And went with his heart?  What do you think of him picking Vienna?

What would you say to Tenley to reassure her that the world has fallen in love with her and that she will make someone happy?

What do you think of Ali being the next Bachelorette?

Leave a comment, I want to hear what you think.

PS. Don’t forget to watch Jason Mesnick & Molly Malaney’s wedding next Monday March 8, 2010 at 9:00PM.

UPDATE:  Small clip from Tenley being on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today.
