What Do You Think Of Jake Pavelka Picking Vienna? And Rejecting Tenley? The Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love
Well as you all might know, the Bachelor: On The Wings Of Love, has come to a close and I am so sad to see this reality show go off the air.
I can honestly say that I am in love with Jake and Tenley! I could watch their life from a distance forever! Tenley seems to be the perfect woman. It actually makes me teary eyed to watch such a display of affection and love put out there and in the end be broken hearted. She has so many fine qualities, she is passionate and without a shadow of a doubt in love with Jake.
I am sad and equally hurt that I have invested so much of my heart into this show, for Tenley to be rejected at the end! She has so much poise and honour. What a wonderful woman, I thoroughly hope that she will be the next bachelorette. I feel like I’ve just been dumped.
Vienna has been controversial, and in most cases I would rally to support her because she appears to be the underdog. But in this case, I think that he needs to use ration and not only the physical attraction. And in the end he chose her. Do you believe that it was lust over love, or do you think that he gave her the appropriate benefit of doubt? And went with his heart? What do you think of him picking Vienna?
What would you say to Tenley to reassure her that the world has fallen in love with her and that she will make someone happy?

Tenley didn’t seem to be able to let her gaurd down and wasn’t as “fun” on the show, but JUST BECAUSE Vienna was RUDE doesn’t make her more REAL. I heard her say some downright insulting things. You can be genuine, yet respectful and polite. NO EXCUSES for that kind of mouth.
None of us know Jake, so we don’t know if she is the type of girl for him, but overall, she seems far from the most lovely person in the world. I’m not sure how else to put it. Also… if you just look at her facial expressions I’m not sure that she is that in love with the guy.
Hmmm… Anyway, whether they get married or not it doesn’t seem like they will have the most fulfilling relationship unless one or both of them change a bit. That’s my two cents from what I observed.

Jake will find out sooner or later, but he made his bed and now has to lie in it!

4The first clue that Jake was going to choose Vienna was the fact that he was HURT by the TRAMP Roslyn(sp). She was tacky, cheap, not too bright, a liar and a slut and He CRIED when she left. First clue that he wouldn’t choose someone as sweet and gentle as Tenley. But his biggest mistake was not giving Ali a chance to come back after being gone A SECOND!
Vienna had problems with everyone, Ali was just one of the chorus. But, Vienna could not speak 1 SENTENCE without some major grammar error! It isn’t Jake and me’s relationship! Noone ever taught her how to speak english, how to dress or behave like a lady. I have no idea how she graduated from any college as clueless as she is. My prediction is that they won’t last 6 months before she finds someone more interesting and I hope that he learns from the lesson.
He chose a tacky, young, unintelligent girl with legs like a TANK. I believe that she won this one in the special suite they “shared” on the 1st overnight date period.
Tenley showed incredible resiliency and class when he shut her down, but I suspect that she really got the message when he questioned their “chemistry” during the last chance date.
Note to Vienna: Stop talking about the size of the “rock” that is weighing down your arm. #1-He didn’t pay for it. I would rather had been given a cubic zirconium that my fiancee had chosen for ME more than 24 hours before asking me to marry him than a “Rock” that was given to him ALONG WITH ONE FOR THE OTHER WOMAN HE WAS DATING less than 24 hours before we became engaged. But, beyond that…it further showed her level of tacky that she didn’t realize that it may be larger than the ones her friends from college got from their co-ed fiancees (which they chose and paid for themselves)…it wasn’t that BIG.
I hope that Ali finds someone with more class and brains than Jake!
5I read your article and wanted to give you my thoughts on it. Being an avid viewer of this season’s The Bachelor, I strongly believe that Jake made the absolute best decision in choosing Vienna. I have seen every episode, as well as deleted scenes and have noticed the stronger, more natural, connection he had with Vienna. She’s funny and they get one another’s sense of humor. Although Tenley was a great woman, she did not bring out the best in Jake. It seemed that Jake always felt like he had to be that “perfect” guy and he had to act a certain way to please her, especially constantly being compared to her ex. He couldn’t reveal his faults. But with Vienna, he could just relax and be himself, and that she would love him unconditionally. Here’s a link to some deleted scenes that made me realize the connection between Jake and Vienna.
Honestly, my heart goes out to Vienna. She was portrayed as the villain, yet watching the show she did not seem to possess any vindictive intentions or qualities. I don’t even think that she was immature… she just knows how to let loose and have a good time. Even under the attack of the other women, she seemed to handle it well. I really liked her and I don’t understand why everyone has negative view of Vienna. She seemed to be a happy person, someone who is always smiling and a lover of life.
If you re watch the episodes, you can see Jake genuinely happy and always smiling when he’s with Vienna, whereas with Tenley he had to fake that happiness. So I’m glad he didn’t choose Tenley. Nothing against her, but it wouldn’t do either of them a service if he did choose her. Furthermore, physical chemistry is very important, because without it one just sees the other as a friend. With Vienna, Jake had that emotional chemistry along with the physical. I’m happy for them!

7I believe Jake made a big mistake choosing Vienna. It won’t last long, I didn’t like her from the beginning and I think most of the viewers didn’t like her. He should have picked Tenly or even that crazy girl would have been a better choice HAHA
8First, Tinley was so NOT the one. That’s all I can say about that except that I agree she was still hooked into the love she has/had for her ex-husband. Never liked Ali. She was a vicious woman and worked hard to get the other women to hate Vienna because she saw Vienna as a threat. Vienna didn’t talk behind the backs of the other women as they did her. She was just honest and I see no problem with that. Vienna is a real woman and genuine. The problem with this show is that they leave out so much and put in so much phony acting. When I had to DVR the show and watch it later, I sometimes had to fast forward through the phony junk, even from Jake, whom I like! Some of the show is clearly scripted or they are told what to do or say. Do not like that. Having said all of that, even though the show keeps roping me in out of curiousity, it IS difficult to form clear opinions when us, as the viewers, don’t have all of the honest facts. That leads to some really outrageous opinions that are not based on fact. Very happy Jake chose Vienna though. She is not a cheer leader cutesie or fashion model kind of beauty but a classic beauty with gorgeous huge eyes. I am happy that she is more like an average woman like most women are. If the viewers got to see everything, Ali would NOT be the next Bachelorette, AND her complete phoniness when she expected Jake to beg her to stay and pushing that bottom lip out, staring that phony stare. I wanted to puke. I will not be watching but love Chris Harrison!
9I didnt watch the whole season. Just one episode at the beginning and the finale. Because nothing else was on. I think that Jake guy was boring as hell. Tenley deserved much better. So I think he chose perfectly.

11Here’s my thing…I get so wrapped up in The Bachelor – and then get duped by the editing. I found out this year pretty early on that Vienna had one (Reality Steve. com)…and that just put me off the show. So – the ending wasn’t such a shocker. As for Ali being the next Bachelorette – how is she getting out of work for this long? Jeez. Never ending cycle. And I’m sure I’ll tune in. I’m a sucker like that.

13Vienna and Jake are so in love, that is until she cleans out his bank account. White trash will always remain white trash. we should place bets on the length of the relationship. I don’t think it will last 3 months. Too bad Jake’s family didn’t have more influence and go with their gut reaction. As far as Tenley, there are not many women out there like her. She was a lady till the end and it will be Jake’s loss. Hopefully we won’t have a repeat of last season, she is too good for that and she will find love with someone else, that will love her just as much or more. I’m sorry but i think its time for this series to call it quits, I’d rather watch a rerun of CSI Miami.
I didn’t root for Vienna throughout the show,but I think,in the end,Jake made the right decision for him, Last night: while watching Jake & vienna being interviewed by chris…I saw my husband & I (when we first started out)! The odds were agaist us too,we had barely known each a month before we were married & he was stationed over a thousand miles from where I lived,that was 11+ yrs ago,& we’re still very much in love & still going strong,so I am happy for them & hopefully if they’re both sincere,they’ll last a lifetime! I thought Tenley was really sweet,& I think the Bachelor may have been the “turning” point in her life,she’ll find her Mr.Right,it just wasn’t Jake! (My opinion only)!

Oh wake up Rachel, Tenley was nothing but a sweet fabulous woman! When Jake chose Vienna (worst decision ever btw), she thanked him for opening up her heart again and giving her a chance. How much more graceful can you get? The guy of your dreams just dumped you on national television…my guess is that YOU’D have a tantrum and they’d have to call in security to drag you off of him. Maybe you’re a bit jealous that she knows how to handle it like a real woman? Rather than bashing on her, maybe you should be taking notes.
Vienna was hated not only by the women in the house but also by the viewers, for a reason. I don’t have any idea what he was thinking, but I’m sure that he wasn’t using his brain or his heart. She’s got a butterface (everything’s nice, but her face) and she’s so immature. All he could talk about was their great physical chemistry. Sure there’s hot passion when you’re dating a slut. This type of a woman is not he type you marry, maybe sleep around with but not marry. When his family asked what she liked about him, she didn’t have anything to say, she wasn’t even prepared. She’s a take take take girl, but what is she gonna give back? Patience…understanding…unconditional love? I don’t think so. Turn off the spot light and see he running to the next television superstar.
Good luck babysitting Jake, she’s got a lot to learn so say goodbye to a mature healthy adult relationship.
And Tenley…his choice was Vienna over you, hope that give you proof that he’s just NOT WORTH IT. No matter how handsome he is, he showed HIS true intentions when he proposed to Vienna. He’s not looking for a long lasting marriage, he’s looking for an exciting bedroom life. Good luck with that.

I gotta tell ya…last night’s episode has left me feeling soooo depressed!!! I understand that Vienna is in love with him…who wouldn’t be, but my heart is just breaking for Tenly. To have someone tell you that they love you, then let you go , when you didn’t even have bad feelings or an argument is soooo terrible. I… have watched the Bachelor every season. but this one leaves me with such a sad feeling!!!

Last’s night DRAMATIC conclusion of “The Bachelor” was Lame To The Ass. Of course he chose Vienna. She has big fake boobs and is obsessed with pleasing Jake. And I’m pretty sure the “spark” that Jake couldn’t quite articulate to Tenley can be summed up in two letters: BJ.
I must say – Tenley is a class act. She took getting dumped by the douchiest guy on primetime like a lady. She’ll have no trouble finding her cartoon prince now.
23I think that Jake made the best decision for himself. He was not on the show for us to pick a woman for him, so stop judging his decision. He was there to pick the woman that he thought he had a better connection with. He said that he could be himself with Vienna and he seems to have alot of fun with her. I wish them the best. If it were to not work out, oh well, a lot of relationships dont work out. If he would have picked Tenley, he would have had to listen to her talk about her ex all the time, that gets boring fast! 27I like Jake very much, and I truly wish him happiness, but I think he made a big mistake by choosing Vienna, instead of Tenley. Vienna seems to me a very immature woman. The only thing that she has going for her is her body. And I agree with what Maria P. said. As far Tenley, she is a sweetheart and she got her heart broken again. She should have been the next Bachelorette instead of Ally, but I like Ally anyway. Good luck to her on her journey to find her true love.
28If she makes him happy, ok. If she breaks, his heart, then Jake’s a big fool. There are some people who will use shows like The Bachelor to get on TV. It would not be a big surprise if that was Vienna’s REAL agenda.

30Finally, the fact that everyone disliked her only proves that there is something great about her which provokes envy, (typical of the ongoing competition between most women who don’t support one another). I am glad that Jake saw beyond that and stood up for his feelings as well as for her!
Tenley was a big fake. She never expressed real opinions and thoughts. She demonstrated that she was a desperate woman willing to be led by the nose just so she could be called a “wife” once again. Vienna on the other hand, showed strength in the face of controversy and haters. She was also natural and opinionated. She wins my vote!
31Tenley was fake that is why she was not chosen. She showed her real face when Jake did not choose her. Also, when knowing that he was already engaged to Vienna, wanted to continue being his “friend” and being in his life. I think this says a lot about a woman. At least Vienna was real. She never hid who she was or what she thought. This is why Jake chose her instead. He knew something wasn’t right about Tenley. Someone he realized she was going to sink her claws into him and control him. That’s the impression her overly sweet facade demonstrated to me. Congratulations Vienna!! Lastly, who would joke about being pregnant!? Tenley apparantly did. This shows a desperate attempt to eliminate competition and to hold onto him. He chose well with Vienna. Tenley would have one day boiled a rabbit!
32Well… I believe that poor Jake is going to be hurt in the end. He’s is choosing the wrong women in his life. That’s probably why he’s still a bachelor at 31. He obviously fell for lust over a true classy woman. Too bad the lust doesn’t last forever. She stikes me as way too imature and very spoiled and definitely not ready for marriage and children right now. Just wait…time will tell. He will soon find out that he’s made a huge mistake, but that’s how you learn in life. Hopefully.

To top it off when there is a disagreement with the sister – in – laws in the family the TRUE Vienna will appear. So he’s going to see that he made a wrong choice and he should’ve listened to the girls in the house, and his Mom’s red flag.
34Jake made the right decision for him. He had chemistry with Vienna right from the very beginning. I think a lot of the girls (especially Allie) picked up on that and tried to get her eliminated by talking trash about her to Jake. Good for him, he listened to his heart. Tenley was way to sweet to take for very long. She did her fair share of nasty talk about Vienna too. Maybe we should find out what her ex-husband has to say, cheating is a symptom of a bad marriage, not usually the cause. Two sides to every story.
35As far as Allie being the next Bachelorette, I will NOT be watching next season. I found her to be nasty, shallow and classless (bad dresser too). Not even that pretty!! Gia would have been GREAT!!
I truly believe that Jake and Vienna will not last a lifetime. I also believe that we must make our mistakes in life to learn from them. I am sure many if not all of us have at one time or another thought we were following our heart only to realize later it was a mistake. Either way I hope they will be happy,we all deserve that much out of life.

37I’m really happy for them and was pulling for Vienna from the beginning. Their chemistry was off the charts. It also was very evident that they’re truly “in love.” If they have made it through all this stuff they have been writing about her, then they can make it anywhere. I’m so happy!! I love Vienna; I rooted for her from the start!! The more Ally stirred up hate in the home against Vienna, the more I loved Vienna and felt protective of her.
Ally is so immature. The way she acted and tried to rally up the house was pathetic. Can’t believe so many people actually liked her. She was so hateful. I’m really disappointed that she’s going to be the next Bachelorette.
Tennely was a sweet girl. Although I always had Vienna’s back, I was not sure who he was going to pick in the end. He looked so torn, and happy with both girls. I can’t even imagine!!! Odd place to be in for everyone!! She was a sweet girl, but honestly don’t think she was over the pain from her marriage yet. I wish the best for her though, and hope she finds the happiness EVERY woman deserves, ESPECIALLY VIENNA.
