Do you ever get in the mode that you just don’t want to do anything?  Well I do, all the time.  I have two children, I mean a four year old daughter and a husband, and it seems as though the house work doesn’t stop.

My husband and I use to fight all the time about dishes, so I bought myself a dishwasher.  I come from a very large family so when supper was over my dad would call on his dishwasher as well, Lynn, that’s right it was my job to do the dishes.  Now let me tell you, there’s nothing more that I hate to do now…….that’s right dishes. 

So is it wrong for me to be finished with cleaning.   I need to hire a maid.  I just don’t want the maid, or I think (the politically correct word for them it is housekeeper), to see what I live in.  A mess!  Laundry, dishes, cleaning the bathroom, bedroom, toys….oh my goodness the toys, they have multiplied in the last four years.  I am pretty sure that I could open a toy store.  hhhhmmmmm that’s an idea. *giggle*

Do you ever wonder what a housekeeper would say when she got to your house?  Would she think to herself, “what’s this ladies problem.”  Well I do have a problem, I don’t like to clean anymore.  I want someone else feel what it’s like cleaning here.

And it’s funny as I am cleaning, my daughter seems to make a trail, now that things are back in order she can find the things that she wasn’t able to find before……yeah for me!!!   More mess, more toys!

I think that my husband would be thrilled if I consulted him about getting a “housekeeper.”  He would automatically think that it was a TV maid, that we were hiring.  You know one of those thin,sexy little things with the maid get-up on. 

Well, he will be flabbergasted when I get an older not so attractive lady.  Maybe I will pay her to put on the sexy get-up and flirt with him.  Wouldn’t that be funny!!

So back to cleaning, do you ever feel like you are doing it for nothing, it will just be a mess tomorrow, I think that, and then the cycle will begin again tomorrow.  This way everything is out already. 

And then I get in this tunnel and I want to clean everything, walls, stove, fridge, behind the fridge and stove, that really excites my husband and daughter.  They look at each other and say, “maybe we should leave, so that we’re not in her way.”  That is a code people, for let’s go to McDonald’s.  Isn’t that nice of them, leaving so that I can get around and clean their mess better.  Aww, how sweet.
